Manage project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop the team
Manage a team of software engineers, including task planning and code reviews
Hands on test, verify and audit code work prior to deployment
Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment
Recruit and develop talent within the team as required, identifying opportunities for professional growth and succession
Implement effective engineering processes and procedures, standards, best practices and policies for the team and company
Create and present team reports and analysis to executives in a meaningful way
Must effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with teams across the Company, including senior executives
Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects
Work closely with headquarters to ensure building best products
Manage scalability, growth and storage solutions, large-scale applications
Contribute to engineering and development tasks as needed

Minimum 7+ years experience BUILDING and LEADING engineering teams 10+ years of experience as a software developer Experience in programming, algorithmic, problem solving, developing for the Web, Facebook and at least one native mobile platform Demonstrated delivering mission critical, high value products and services Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills Must be able to weigh and resolve issues effectively under tight deadlines Ability to prioritize team tasks and work in a fast-moving and quickly-growing company Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C#, HTML5, Flash, and Ruby on Rails is a plus Familiar with data-driven product development (analytics, A/B testing) Open to Western candidates under the right conditions
