Responsible for the design of customized titanium prostheses, titanium bone-plates and surgical guides. This includes but not limited to data processing and computer-aided design. The position will also manage and oversee all product design process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform series of image processing techniques to analyze CT-scan data
- Work with doctors to get requirement, design and get approval
- Using computer-aided design software to design part/entire prosthesis and its corresponding fixation to ensure excellent fitment to each patients anatomy and follow correct specifications.
- Estimate time and costs required to complete project.
- Maintain and follow companys procedures and standards.
- Report and escalate production manager as needed

- Proficient in computer-aided design software, e.g. Solid works / ANSYS - Skilled in PC usage and should have direct experience in imaging processing, preferably CT-scan processing - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Good analytical and problem-solving abilities - Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time - BEng in materials/mechanical engineering or relevant field
