Job Purpose
Overall objective of this position is to provide a high level of customer service and business intelligence and insights reporting for one or more of our strategic global clients.This role is responsible for supporting a client within the meetings and events team, with the delivery of BI reporting of their meetings activity. The ideal candidate must have a combination of technical skills mixed with excellent communication skills to work consultative with clients. They will design and create customized reports and dashboards that include best practices for data visualizations while also embodying creativity and accuracy in advanced reporting tools.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborates with end users in the design of custom Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, metrics and reports and executes the development.
Translates business requirements into detailed technical design and programming specifications
Adheres to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), leveraging Agile development methodology.
Documents all report related activities including user requests, report specification, development, modification, testing and on-going production support.
Follows the entire development life cycle including coding, unit testing, bug fixes and maintenance (inclusive of regression testing for platform releases)
Researches and conducts data analysis as well as makes recommendations in support of resolution of issues
Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees

Key Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience working with healthcare, life sciences or pharmaceutical industry Minimum 2 years experience working in the hospitality or meetings and events industry Bachelors degree with technology focus or equivalent work experience Minimum two years of hands-on experience working with data visualization tools (Birst and Tableau are a plus) Advanced to expert knowledge on Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools Understanding of relational databases and star schema as well as a demonstrated proficiency in efficient query writing (SQL is preferred) Ability to work mostly unsupervised. Proven communication and collaboration skills; willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities. Customer and service-oriented mindset
