Review vendor performance Responsibilities: • Develop the vendor acquisition and evaluation criteria & policy. • Evaluate potential suppliers using developed and agreed criteria to support alignment and understanding of the expectations and requirements of engagement • Involve in bidding and price negotiation process ensuring cost effectiveness deal with vendor & aligning with company direction • Develop and maintain Transportation’s approved vendor list • Develops on-going oversight to ensure due diligence process of third party relationships with vendors • Monitor and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics • Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required. • Manage outward communication to vendors to facilitate understanding and awareness of organizational strategic direction, changes and challenges • Manage the interaction between vendors and internal program delivery leaders to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs • Liaise with procurement partners to review, report on and revise contractual agreements as necessary • Interface with Business Development, Operations and other departments to support business growth • Provide Leadership and guidance leading vendor management team’s direction and motivating them to achieve the business direction • Drive improvements in the vendor management process and organization to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of team • Provide on-going feedback, coaching, and training to enhance the sales team’s likelihood of success in their jobs • Attend internal meetings, seminars, working groups; provide reports and analysis as required.
