Job summary:
The Vendor Management Manager-GMR will be responsible to the following scopes of job in order to ensure vendor acquired aligning with KMMT business direction in term of deliverables, quality and price.
1. Set long term strategy to build up vendor network
2. Set standardization of vendor
3. Involve in bidding and price negotiation process
4. Monitor and develop vendor
5. Review vendor performance
Responsibilities:
Develop the vendor acquisition and evaluation criteria & policy.
Evaluate potential suppliers using developed and agreed criteria to support alignment and understanding of the expectations and requirements of engagement
Involve in bidding and price negotiation process ensuring cost effectiveness deal with vendor & aligning with company direction
Develop and maintain Transportations approved vendor list
Develops on-going oversight to ensure due diligence process of third party relationships with vendors
Monitor and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics
Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required.
Manage outward communication to vendors to facilitate understanding and awareness of organizational strategic direction, changes and challenges
Manage the interaction between vendors and internal program delivery leaders to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs
Liaise with procurement partners to review, report on and revise contractual agreements as necessary
Interface with Business Development, Operations and other departments to support business growth
Provide Leadership and guidance leading vendor management teams direction and motivating them to achieve the business direction
Drive improvements in the vendor management process and organization to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of team
Provide on-going feedback, coaching, and training to enhance the sales teams likelihood of success in their jobs
Attend internal meetings, seminars, working groups; provide reports and analysis as required.

Requirements: Male or Female, Age 30-45 years old. Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related business filed. At least 5 years of experience in Vendor Management, Sourcing Manager in Logistics, or Transportation industry A minimum of 3 years of experience with proven record in manager or supervisor roles Experience in vendor and contract management in Transportation or Logistic industry Ability to travel frequently in Thailand and countries in Greater Mekong Region. Must be able to read, write and speak English very good level. Solid presentation and reporting skills of in-house tools and databases; heavy understanding within Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, etc.). The preferred competencies: Effective planning, organizational, time management, issue resolution and decision-making skills. Strong relationship development and leadership skills. Excellent strategic agility, critical thinker, communication, influencing Strong negotiation skills Strong business planning skills, able to drive change.
